Rebecca Cairns is a Research Optometrist and Dry Eye Clinic Lead at Cathedral Eye Clinic with specialist interest in dry eye disease, keratoconus, low vision, corneal conditions, paediatric contact lenses, and inherited retinal disease. She holds a BSc(Hons) in Optometry and advanced clinical qualifications including independent prescribing.
Rebecca has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed publications, including work on inherited retinal degenerations and keratoconus, and has presented her research at national and international conferences such as ARVO and BCLA. She is a recipient of the College of Optometrists Undergraduate Research Scholarship.
