Kiera Kerr graduated with a degree in Optometry from Glasgow Caledonian University and qualified in 2008. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in High Street optometry, having worked with Specsavers and as a locum for various independent practices across the UK. She also held a managerial position as an Optometrist Manager with Boots Opticians.

Kiera joined the team at Cathedral in July 2023 and has thrived in her role ever since. She is passionate about delivering exceptional eye care and finds great fulfillment in helping patients—whether restoring vision through cataract care or providing the life-changing freedom from glasses that many have long desired.

She is currently completing an Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification and plans to sit her final exams in July 2025.
