I had lens replacement surgery at Cathedral Eye Clinic roughly one month ago. My vision wasn’t great, and continued to deteriorate throughout my life until I reached the point where I required glasses. This caused a lot of obstructions with my work – it was just a bit of a nightmare situation. It was really handy travelling up from Kilkeel for my procedure – it was great having that access to great parking facilities.
As soon as you walk through the doors of Cathedral Eye Clinic, you meet the receptionists, who are just great. They have just been fantastic from the first day I met them up until the present day. Everything went smoothly and was hassle-free, right up until the actual surgery. This was great – everything was so great, and chatting away to my surgeon during the procedure was just like lying down and reading a newspaper. It was pain-free, hassle-free and I haven’t had any other complications to worry about. I would recommend it to anyone.
It has completely changed my life. When driving, there’s details in the car that I noticed that I didn’t see previously. Seeing all those digits and readings on the speedometer was great! Driving in general, especially in cities is fantastic and has made life so much easier.
Returning to Kilkeel at the foot of the Mournes, I was so impressed with my results, seeing the landscape divided by those famous walls. I’ve been down there for eight years, and that was the first time I saw them!
I would absolutely recommend that people get their eyesight sorted with Cathedral Eye Clinic sooner rather than later.
