Annual National Eye Health Week

The seventh annual National Eye Health Week will be taking place between the 19th to the 25th of September. All across the UK health professionals, organisations and charities are uniting to stress the importance of regular sight tests and general eye health.

1.8 million people in the UK are living with sight loss. For 53% of these, a simple sight test and new glasses would really help.

At Cathedral Eye Clinic, we’ve been helping people look after and maintain healthy eyes for years, so were eager to support and help raise awareness this week and many more weeks to come.

Our trained team of specialists know all too well the importance of regularly having your eyes tested to ensure the best quality of vision during your lifetime. Early detection is key to fighting any medical illness and eye problems are no different.

Our state of the art equipment is the very best in Ireland allowing us to provide individuals with the very best in optical care.

Knowing this we are offering free eye checks at the Queen’s University Student’s Union, Belfast on the 23rd and 26th of September. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see a better tomorrow.
